Life Spring Language Center

In 2019, Alban Nedelko and Sean Carney began praying about how to become more involved in the community of Elbasan. Sean, a former Arkansas public school teacher, and Alban, who has a degree in English, felt led to begin Life Spring Language Center (Qendra Burimi i Jetes). Learning other languages is a practical skill for the Albanian job market, so many families are eager to give their children a head start. The language center began with 40 students the first year, 80 the next, and this year over 130 children, teenagers and adults came through our program. We are excited to offer highly professional courses, approved by the Albanian Ministry of Education. Life Spring Center provides an income for several Albanian teachers, hosts our church meetings, and most importantly, give us an opportunity to speak into the lives of over a hundred students and their families.
